I had been working with a loan officer, and it all appeared to be going well, but 10 days before the close I was informed I did not qualify for the loan. At this point, I was in danger of losing my unit, as well as the $110,000 I had already paid as a downpayment.
I was not at my best – fear and panic had set in when I was introduced to Doris Le. Mind you, I had spent countless hours speaking to loan officers and I thought my mortgage broker was sending me down another dead end road until I spoke to Doris. Right away, her calm and organized voice told me what I needed to do. I sent her the documents requested, and she took over. At this point, she had a week to get my loan funded; she said it would be tight but we could do it.
